.If you would like to complete a quilt top quickly this is for you. Come and spend a day sewing your quilt top. Lunch & Quilt pattern included in the price £20.00
I have been working on a quilt which can be scrappy using 5" charm packs. Or 5" strips cut into 5" squares with a colour plan. You need 100 squares to make the quilt and extra material for whichever size border you choose. I have a few kits left. Cost of kit for quilt top only size 56" x 56" approx. £27.00. this includes pattern. Pattern can be purchased seperately £5.00.
LEARN TO KNOW YOUR MACHINE - LYN COPSON
Spend a day with Lyn who will show you how to use your machine to it's full potential.
Bring your machine with all the accessories, we will have plenty of cottons, ribbon, cord etc for you to experiment with.

for a chest of drawers. I have several floral applique patterns for you to choose from.
Now you can practice your machine applique or sew by hand.

Applique flowers I have several patterns to choose from. If you don't want to go to the expense of purchasing a fire screen as they can be expensive I can show you how by using picture frames.

Workshop to include photographs of family, pets or favourite places etc.using Photo Fabric. This is paper-backed fabric for use with ink jet printers.
You could start to work on a small wallhanging, cushion as below or a tote bag. Wonderful presents for the family for Christmas . I have an inkjet printer and we can get together beforehand and print out the pictures. I have surprised myself we can evan do it by e-mail.
Day workshop to include lunch £20.00. We will arrange before the day to get the photo's printed. The cost of the photo printing is extra.
Table Runner
You can make a floral applique table runner or applique holly and ivy for a special christmas runner for your table.

Come & make a personal journal.. At this workshop Lyn will be showing you how to make a personalised embellished felt book cover. Lyn will be bringing along everthing you will need for the project and this is included in the price of the workshop
Fee £26.00 (the fee includes cost of day workshop +materials). All you need to
bring is your sewing kit.
CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP.
There is a variety of things to make. Stockings, or Fancy Boots,wallhanging, tree decorations to name a few. You could start several of them in the day and finish them off at home.
£20.00 for the day plus lunch with Mincepies, Shortbread to get us in the mood for christmas.
Make a quillow
This is a workshop where you can bring your quilt top if it is completed
up to the binding stage. We will then show you how to make a pillow
and finish off the quillow. You could also use pre printed material or
pre-sewn squares which we have on offer. We will show you how to
quickly assemble your quilt. Or alternatively we can show you some fast
piecing to speed up making your quilt top This could be a seperate workshop.
Below is a finished quillow folded into a pillow.
£20.00 for the day plus lunch.
