Easter has come and gone with the holidays being different according to which county you live in.
I have been working on a small quilt which incorporates 5" charm packs to give a scrappy look or 5" strips cut into 5" squares with the colours placed in an order to give another design when the blocks are sewn together. It incorporates 100 squares to get a fair sized lap quilt and is very quick and easy to do. Anyone interested in signing up for a day workshop please contact me
I love Calico so the Calico & Lace Workshop will incorporate some projects to make for a bedroom or as gifts for your loved ones. This is a good way to practice your sewing machine skills on the applique, or for those of you who don't like to machine you can sew by hand

Teaching is an important part of our business, with small informal workshops for beginners, intermediate and experienced quilters. In our workshops we focus on old as well as new technics. Our students have the choice to work by hand or machine. We have had students without any sewing experience who have gone onto creating a family heirloom. Please check out our Workshop section.
Butterfly Quilters studio offers a Long Arm machine quilting service with a range of designs to chose from for people who love to make the quilt tops but do not have the time to quilt. Please check out our Services section
